Use the Inline Formatting panel
The Template Inline Formatting panel is used to define reusable inline text entries for the current template. The panel includes sections for tokens, fonts, colors, and sizes.
In each section, enter the key and label fields shown by the form. For fonts, enter the font family value. For colors, choose or enter the color value. For sizes, enter the size value required by the panel.
Configure inline tokens
In the token section, use fields such as Key like R or COST_1 and Label like Red Mana to register template token entries. These entries are used by text rendering inside the template when token syntax is present in card text.
- Open the token subsection.
- Enter the token key.
- Enter the visible label.
- Save the template after the token list is updated.
Repeat the same pattern in the font, color, and size subsections when the template needs those inline definitions.
Save and reload templates
When the canvas and formatting settings are ready, click Save Template. The template is stored in the saved template library and becomes selectable from the template dropdown.
To continue editing a saved template later, open the same dropdown, choose the saved template, and wait for that template to load into the canvas and side controls.
Prepare the template for Card Deck Editor use
After saving, move to the Card Deck Editor and choose the saved template from the deck-side template picker. Then open the Template Field Link panel and connect the deck columns to the fields used in the template.
If the template includes Front and Back content, repeat the same deck side setup for both sides in the Card Deck Editor.
Use template delete and replace actions carefully
- Use Delete in the template library section to remove the selected saved template.
- Use New to clear the current editor state and start a new template.
- Use the saved template dropdown to switch between template records.
These actions change which template record is currently loaded in the editor workspace.
