DECKVIO LEGAL
Terms of Service
These Terms govern access to Deckvio, including account registration, boardgame card deck creation workflows, templates, exports, and related services.
Who these Terms apply to
These Terms form a contract between you and the Deckvio service operator whenever you access or use Deckvio. If you use Deckvio for a company, studio, or client, you confirm that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.
You must be legally capable of entering into a binding agreement in your location. If local law requires parental or guardian authorization, you may only use the service with that authorization.
Account registration and security
You must provide accurate registration information and keep your login credentials confidential. You are responsible for activity that occurs through your account unless the activity results from a security issue caused by Deckvio.
You must promptly notify the service operator if you suspect unauthorized access, credential compromise, or misuse of your account.
Permitted use
Deckvio may be used to create, edit, organize, and export boardgame-related assets and data. You may not use the service to violate law, infringe intellectual property, distribute malware, interfere with the platform, or process content that you do not have rights to use.
You remain responsible for the legality, accuracy, and ownership status of the content, files, images, text, and data that you upload or generate through your workflows.
User content and ownership
As between you and Deckvio, you retain ownership of your original project content. You grant Deckvio the limited rights needed to host, process, back up, secure, and transmit that content for service delivery, troubleshooting, abuse prevention, and product maintenance.
You represent that you have all rights required to upload, store, transform, and export the content you place in the service.
Acceptable use restrictions
You may not reverse engineer the service except where mandatory law permits it, scrape the platform at scale, attempt to bypass technical limits, or use automated means that materially degrade service stability for other users.
You may not use Deckvio to build or train competing models or services from non-public outputs, telemetry, or data obtained through unauthorized access.
Paid features and changes
If paid plans or metered features are introduced, additional commercial terms may apply and will be presented before purchase. The service operator may modify, suspend, or discontinue features when reasonably necessary for security, legal compliance, or product evolution.
Material changes to these Terms will be posted in Deckvio or on the relevant legal page. Continued use after the updated effective date means you accept the revised Terms, except where applicable law requires a different consent mechanism.
Termination
You may stop using Deckvio at any time. The service operator may suspend or terminate access if reasonably necessary to address misuse, legal risk, non-payment, security incidents, or repeated violations of these Terms.
Sections that by nature should survive termination, including ownership, limitations of liability, dispute provisions, and legal compliance obligations, will survive.
Disclaimers and liability limits
Deckvio is provided on an as-available and as-updated basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the service operator disclaims implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the service operator will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or business opportunities arising from use of the service.
Where liability cannot be excluded, it will be limited to the amount you paid to use Deckvio during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim, or 100 USD if no amount was paid.
Regional rights and governing law
Nothing in these Terms limits mandatory consumer rights that apply in your place of residence, including rights available in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, Switzerland, Canada, or U.S. states with consumer privacy laws.
If mandatory local law does not require otherwise, disputes will be governed by the law designated by the Deckvio operator and resolved in the competent courts for that venue. Consumer users may also rely on mandatory venue protections that local law provides.
